Building a Winning Team is Worth the Effort
A lot of factors play into creating a winning team, and different people
have different recipes for it. One factor that can’t be denied is that a winning team has to spend quality time together. In today’s world, this may be on a ball field or court, in an office or on TEAMS, in a conference room or manufacturing facility, or in a variety of other places. People who want to be a part of a winning team need to care about each other and have mutual goals that will help them find ways to connect with their teammates to support, encourage, and learn from each other.
In late June, our AGRI-SEARCH team came together for a time of fellowship, fun, food, and learning. We all met in Arthur and enjoyed sessions that sharpened our skills, activities that helped us get to know each other better, and fellowship that forged a stronger understanding of who our teammates are.

Our team is located in multiple states with over half working remotely. Video calls are our norm, so getting together to build stronger relationships was a big plus. Eating a delicious meal in an Amish
home and learning unique fun facts about our teammates may seem trivial, but it was very enjoyable and in the long run, it was very beneficial. (see accompanying photos).
What is your team doing to build a culture that is attractive and beneficial for current and future team members? Are your team members coming to work or “coming to fun?” Do you have opportunities for connection, fulfillment and growth for all teammates? Can a good, livable income be earned, and are their opportunities for all to increase their productivity and income?
Why not make it your goal to build your team into a winning team. Create a recipe that works for you and enjoy the process of seeing your team come together in pursuit of common goals. Your efforts and investment will be well worth it.
